anyone know what the mcghee situation is as surely we must be getting a fee for him if he stays at boro or will hearts tempt him to come back.

He can leave in summer, does not want to go back to Hearts, we will get a development fee when he moves to a new club.

hope not, goncalves signed up now just need another defender a goalie and that's a full team we've signed, is romanov sending cash to budge for all these signings and wonder if there's any players to go prob sammon think he's fed up with the way things have turned out i wonder if killie would want him back they could do with him

3.) 30 jan 2017 21:35:32
hibs wanting ambrose another one from the parent club

4.) 31 Jan 2017 16:18:03
got it right on the connor situation it was just a guess but thought with the state killie are in they might go back to their former top scorer i wonder if he will turn out to be another sutton and score loads now he's away from the pressure and system of hearts.

5.) 31 Jan 2017 19:01:05
Hibs don't want ambrose

6.) 02 mar 2017 00:56:05

things are very quiet on here has nobody anything to add on robbie leaving and who is coming in, also prospects for players going and coming in, my thoughts are hearts will look to bring in atleast 2,000,000 in january to pay for the shortfall in funds for the stand and i think it will be patterson and johnson that will go think we want to keep souter and can't see walker going yet, players coming in well I've heard we fancy some dutch midfielder but don't we have enough of them, and also heard about mcguire from oxford well i'm watching oxford right now and he is pants abit like watt but we need a goalscorer, finally can i say thanks to mikey stewart for mentioning that hearts are a huge club with great potential live on tv he is right if we can fill the stadium right mow with an average team think what we could get with a decent team, 25,000+++.

I had doubts with your last post that you are a Hearts supporter and these doubts have just increased.
It is fairly safe to say we'll not get 25000 even if we had Barcelona's team as our new stand's capacity is well short of that figure. Any Hearts supporter would know that.

2.) 03 Dec 2016 12:49:06
CLARIFICATION
I should have said that the GROUND'S capacity, including the new stand, will be well short of 25000.

3.) 04 Dec 2016 16:54:25
first of all been a fan for 37 years since first game, and to prove i am a fan when we almost won the league in 85/ 6 we were getting 24,000 against the likes of clydebank and i know with the new stand our capacity will be about 20,000 but i'm saying with a good team on the pitch and increasing people wanting to go see hearts the club will have to expand again and i think we could get 25,000 easy, i don't know why your questioning me as a genuine fan i was at dundee the last game of the season was at the final that year been to munich been to anfield that's our history and I've been there, i like many other fans believe we could be doing a lot better on and off the field us genuine fans know how big we could be but we don't think the people that run the club feel the same way they just worry about finance, yes we have just come from a bad place but that's behind us were on our way to the top with the right mentality.

hi all jambos well fair to say not the season we all expected so far total lack of quality and bad team set ups costing us week after week, anyway i'm thinking as the work starts on new stand and we just announce £600,000 profits, have the management and board thought about how they intend on filling the stadium, its guarnteed a lot of fans in the roseburn stand will want seats in the new stand leaving roseburn near empty, and with the way the team are playing and with not any talk of spending any cash on new players i can only see the crowds going down, imagine out the scottish cup early rangers and aberdeen pulling away from us never mind celtic who will want to watch the crap in the cold winter, so the business plan goes down the plan, does anyone disagree as i can't see any progression from last season and with money being spent on the stand i can't see major signings more like a few being sold.

1.) 24 Nov 2016 10:30:03
Just because we're not playing well doesn't mean we should desert our team and not show up. We've stuck by in worse times than we're in now, and even this situation isn't awful; we're playing now where near our best yet we're still fourth, fourth was a good position to achieve years back. Considering what we've been through, what we've done and what we are aiming to do, just stick around and do what we always do. HHGH.

2.) 26 Nov 2016 14:22:00
im in no way having a go at the players, what i think is wrong is the way the club is set up they sign players to make profit rather than pick players that they know would be an assit to the team, say what u want about romanov but when he knew teams were sniffing around gordon he raised his wages to get a good deal and we did, why didn't they offer a similar deal to patterson, and finally we've brought in too similar types especially midfield and now robbie doesn't know who to play, i think we need a rethink of our strategy on and off the pitch otherwise i can't see us progressing.

13 Aug 2016 15:30:39
24 mins into the game v aberdeen what a load of crap punting the ball up field putting ball out no shape anywhere on the field, hardly a ball played to feet really terrible i'm very sorry hearts this ain't the way to be the best team in the league, i take it were going to play really tight away from home and hope to pick up the odd win but hope not to get beat, i think heads wil roll soon if they keep this up and i'm not bothered if they go on to win the game i want to see them play good football home and away.

hi all jambos dissappointed not getting a point out of the game against the tick but were used to it, just thought i'd share my thoughts on the penalty looked a bit of a soft one but as jamie said the ref gave it not him, and I've read some of the crap coming out of the tims pages oh boy have we jambos got right up their noses, do they feel threatened by us or is it just hatred, some of the comments coming from their irish media are really biased, shock, but honest its hatred i suppose its a good sign if their worried and will make things fun for the season.

Six Hearts players booked by Beaton for the first seven Hearts fouls apparently. Have the SFA found the new Gollum?

28 Jul 2016 16:21:17
so rangers getting van persie, celtic signing toure, we sign? i'm depressed already and season not started, we are going to struggle against old firm and if aberdeen get more euro money we could struggle against them unless we get money from somewhere and buy atleast 2 decent named players can't see us in top 4.

sorry hearts you are going the wrong way about building a good team do you not understand robbie or craig we want quality players now in the first team buying players that ain't doing the business at lesser teams and sticking them in the u21 team ain't going to improve the first team and we still need 2 goalkeepers another striker and defender, i hope this scrimping ain't a plan to rip us fans off to pay for the stand we already agread to pay 3m and we deserve a decent team on the park now, think we will finish 4th this season and maybe worse if things turn sour.

£5m to £6m shortfall for the new main atm,Budge & Co won't be splashing out until that's raised.Better future for the club once it goes up tho, presuming that it gets planning permission.

2.) 19 Jun 2016 20:33:41
it maybe important to build a new stand which will improve the club but tell me if i'm wrong there was £3m in the bank saved up for one, then we've agreed to pay another £3m the stand and all the other infrastructure should cost £12M so already us fans are paying 50% of the bill plus they're selling debentures for hospitality and thinking of getting a sponsor to pay for the naming rights of the stand, so i'm getting to the point we've sold over 14,000 season tickets which i reckon is around £3m plus sold out hospitality which could be another £1m also got new strips on sale soon so how is the club struggling to sign quality players, we've moved on 6 first team players but only signed 2 to replace them and robbie said we needed a bigger squad so were 4 short just to be the same as last season, and if i'm not wrong ms budge and robbie said there was money there to sign players and when we sold out the 14,ooo they came out and said this would help in signing quality players, so we have king back, gomes back and hamilton as our no1 not exactly what we were told before we bought our season tickets

3.) 20 Jun 2016 17:21:30
We are the laughing stock of the spl, no quality player's brought in, Gomis back what a joke, he is total crap, should have been freed, Gilk's turn's us down so we get Hamilton as our No1,how bad is that, the lad is no Craig Gordon, then we get a Partick has been, dumped on us, as a back up keeper, where is the quality that was promised, great big let down.

4.) 20 Jun 2016 19:48:24
Hi Maroonblood
The last thing Budge mentioned was £6m (including £2.5m from Benefactors) has been put aside. FOH have agreed to contribute £3m over the next two years; which leaves an extra £2 to £3m over and above that to find. None of that £5 to £6m shortfall is guaranteed to be raised atm; so I doubt that the club will splash out and bring in a ton of new players.
I could well be wrong and the Club are just waiting for players to become available/ out of contract on the 1/ 7. If not I agree with you that it would have been better to raise the New Stand money over 3 years rather than 2 to allow for better quality players to come in. in the meantime.

just watching the footy and just wonder if hearts could do with kyle lafferty as he seems to be wanting to get a move from norwich, he scores goals and knows the scottish game.

we should get about £900,000 for both if they leave plus i reckon we have to move on atleast another 5 players which i doubt hearts will get any money for so that means we have to find upto 7 players for £900,000 so once again we can see the level the board are backing the team we as fans put in £220,000 a month to the club but the board won't even match that amount for players but we will hear its more important to fund the bloody stand, why haven't they found a sponsor for the stand yet?

he won't be going to rangers he would cost £1.5m atleast and rangers can't spend that on scottish players but could see nicholson and patterson going there in pattersons case i would think it shows a lack of desire to go to rangers but nicholson may think its about the money but can't see him getting a regular game, there's lots of players we need to move on before these young lads loads on decent money sitting in the stand each week, don't expect hearts to splash any cash this summer as every penny going into the £3m shortfall for new stand so expect out of contract players again and same rubbish next season.

well this site is for opinions and we're allowed to say what we think. i don't want mcgowan or berra back as i feel that would be going backwards, don't you think were being played, bringing them 2 back would only to try and keep the fans happy for a short time.

mr levein is picking these players not the manager maybe he's picked goncalves maybe martin, really think if the 2 players that you obviously like were great players they wouldn't be coming back to scotland they would be in better teams down south.

the thing that annoys me is the way we keep getting told about the way the club is going to be run, we get players in to make them better then sell them on well berra if he comes back he said he's doing it for his family to be brought up here well he won't be getting sold down south again and i'd have thought by now that if english clubs fancied gowser he would have been down there by now.

and i think patterson will prove to be £5m plus player if he goes down south you just have to watch how the market is in england for attacking defenders, if your 2 players sign again and do a good job ill be man enough to come on here and say i was wrong but if they play the way i think they will, will you come on and say you were wrong, i only want the best for our club but think were being mugged let's see how the next month goes and see how people will be on here wanting heads to roll.
