James Keatings signed 2 year deal announced on stv

1.) Great I'm so thrilled as a lifelong jambo I'm disgusted at the quality of player we are signing

2.) remember we could have gone to the wall, give all those who have saved this club credit and also the new people wanting to come to our still proud club a chance GOGS 1957

3.) People really need to wake up, the players we have signed and will be signing have got experience and a desire to play for us, yes maybe they are not English prem quality but who do you think we are, we have just came out of admin and avoided liquidation and if you hadn't noticed we've just been relegated. so tell me if you are disgusted by these signing who are you expecting us to sign? eto'o? heard he's getting released by Chelsea or what bout rio Ferdinand just left man u, seriously get real

4.) I expect the signings to give us hope of coming back up in 2seasons the players we are signing are under achievers and we have better in our reserves

5.) Nonsense. If you were a "lifelong Jambo" you would be thrilled we are still here to sign anyone at all. And how about you give new players a chance?

6.) Totally agree mate, really pleased with the guys were signing and linked with, young hungry footballers, Keatings isn't an underachiever, he's 22 and was highly thought of at Celtic but chose to leave to forge out a career, as for Gomis try and find 1 Utd fan say a bad word against him, keep up the good work.

7.) I am happy were still here but nothing good happening at hearts second rate manager and underachieving players would be better with Locke and his team

8.) 2nd rate manager?Explain, as for nothing good happening what planet are you on buddy?

9.) Nelson hasn't been a manager he's a fecking rooky and his signings so far is a lot to be desired

10.) Who do some of these posters expect us to be signing, do you want us to go out and buy another Mirsad Bešlija, you persons are thinking in millions when hearts are dealing in pennies. A guy that has scored bags of goals at u20 and then has a goal roughly every 2 games in the championship, I hope carrick can match that but hearts need a goal scorer and both Keatings and Hemmings have proved they can do that and playing with hearts they should do even better. If the "life long " jambo had brains he'd be dangerous.

11.) Neilson even

12.) I did say that unless we sign 2moving midfielders keating won't score half the goals he scored last season as for hemmings he ain't hear yet and I hear he doesn't want to come here but might be forced to. lifelong jambo I know what I'm talking about neilson and Jardine should never be in charge of hearts unless they could have brought in a quality manager proven to take a big team forward just cause we are in the championship we shouldn't drop our standards I know we have little money I would like to see us back up in 2seasons but with the lack of serious commitment from the board and our rooky management let's get ready to be down here for a long time.

13.) Sorry Levin I meant

14.) Teams who have wingers playing on the "" wrong side" and cutting infield tend to score less goals than those who put decent crosses into the penality box. That tactic is a bit old hat now in any case
I think Keating will do well as long the above mentioned tactic changes.

15.) "2moving midfielders" what the hell does that even mean? "Levin" lol

This boy is messed up in the head I think, he has no idea what he is talking about. Still doesn't bring ideas of who the players are he thinks we should be signing though, just berates the ones that the management team are bringing in.

"Life long Jambo" ha

I have every faith in "Levin" and RN to deliver the goods under the strict constraints they will now be working under.

16.) Looking at the stats and all I've said most jambos agree neilson was the wrong decision but we have to live with it, the players that have come in aren't the quality Locke or previous managers would have brought in but I suppose we can't live in the past good luck this season I don't think we will be back up this season but hey ho we still have the derbys.
I hope hearts and hibs go back up soon as they are great clubs with great history's but I still fear a little for us

17.) Shows what you know moving midfielders are midfielders that can move into a strikers role come back when you can understand football boy

18.) Haha moving midfielders. I take it all we have just now are static midfielders? Still waiting on those superstar players names u were expecting us to sign? We have a depleted squad where the oldest player was 22 before Gomis came in. We had Carrick and Oliver as our striking options so not sure who we had that was better in the reserves.

I suppose the "quality" u would have expected Locke to bring in was someone like McCallum? I'm pretty sure u would find something to moan about regardless of what happened though so u crack on.

Yours thankfully

Football boy

19.) Some Raspers on here, eh?

So, Neilson is the wrong choice is he? How do you know that? RN and SC are two of the most promising young coaches in the country, we're lucky to have them. Our football next season will be a breath of fresh air, we are signing players on modest wages, which shows they're not here for the dosh. Keating's banged the goals in for Hamilton last season, so he will do the same in a better side. Morgaro Gomis, if he was to still be at a premier league side he'd be one of the best players on show. Again, we can count ourselves lucky to have such a player in a lower division. I'm delighted with our business thus far, long may it continue.

20.) Re above. By all accounts McCallum was a John Murray (DOF) signing rather than Locke's choice.

21.) How come more people disagreed the original post than agreed even though it was a fact, so there was nothing to disagree with

22.) 16 Jun 2014 18:05:49
Stephen Al Hanoussi joins us, seems another Ngoo or McCallum, but at least we're raking in the signings, Nicholson has also bagged a three year contract, very postive times

23.) It was a total disgrace that we let go a top coach and brought in rookys as for the signings yes I will give then a chance but we are punching well below our weight we are an spl club in the championship and I fear we will be lower than the wee team next season as they have more money and a new start which we seem to be neglecting I do actually believe hibs and hearts will be ahead of rangers this year and fighting to be back where they belong but I still feel hibs at this moment have an edge over us in the way off signings but we will wait and see onward and upward

24.) Who is the top coach? Locke? Your having a laugh the guys tactics where shocking and only got the team playing against hibs. Another armchair fan talking I think

25.) How can Fibs have an edge over Hearts on signings when they don't have a manager & are skint?

Not too Pleased to hear about hearts floating the possibility of selling Danny Wilson to Dundee United, I think he's the man to build that team around.

1.) Think you'll find Hearts told them to bolt.

2.) They put a cheeky bid of a £100,000 now am a rangers fan and can see that Wilson is worth much more than that. Good luck for next season lads looking forward too it.

3.) Dundee Un got told where to go when Hearts insisted that Souter would have to be part of the deal.

4.) You do realise that it was Dundee Utd who offered a derisory bid? Hearts just said they would accept it IF Utd included Souttar which they knew Utd would never go for. Hearts are not trying to sell Wilson.

5.) Sorry but Wilson is mediocre it'd will come back with a higher bid and we will take it not a great lose though

6.) 30 May 2014 23:50:15
Looks like we're getting hemmings

7.) What makes you assume that?

8.) Hemming has stated he had other offers another one hedging his bets don't want anyone who dosent want the deal in the table

9.) Along side a experiance centre half wilson can be another in a long line of international defenders that come through hearts (i know he is already a international but u get my point)

10.) Utd back in for Wilson in the next couple of days personally if the price is right we should let him go he ain't all that much

Jamie MacDonald signs for Falkirk, I am truly surprised he didn't make a step upwards by going to a good English club. I honestly thought he was not a million miles away from a Scotland call over the last few years. Is Gordon a safer bet for Celtic I really not sure they took the right ex jambo

1.) One Year contract with tthe Bairns so he might be back at Tynie the season after next, you never know.

2.) Why release him to sign him a year later?

14 Jun 2014 23:44:57

Hibsboy feels our pain . aye right son pull the other one.

Cummings, Keatings, Fyvie and Holt Gone.

McGinn going .

Ambrose signed .

Stevenson Staying .

But then again you have Pennant training and there isn't enough crying laughing emoji's in the world that could do that justice. let's think about that one 29yo 2nd top scorer for his country or 34yo Jermaine Pennant. OHHH MY PAIN can you still feel it, I'm hurting real baaad.

Do you feel our pain at signing and being linked with bringing in proven International players and highly rated youngsters.

How many of your players are International starters? were any Hibs signings deemed good enough to start for Scotland vs England?

How's that 2nd place shaping up now buddy? I literally can't wait for the season to start because I just love when Hibs are confident because that just assures me that normal service will resume next season.

fans that would stop watching their team because they signed a certain player can get tae, Real supporters support their team no matter who is playing for them, If the Thumb signed for Hearts I'd back him to the hilt, so you can "Claim" to have donated and bought strips all you want but if you don't back the players on the park then your not worth having as a fan.

Kudos You called this one 3 days before it was announced, although most of us heard about a Pole being shown around but you must have had knowledge to know he was a left sided defender. Keep em coming Gorgie boy.
